Truffle Hunting Piedmont: Alba White Truffle Experience (2026)

The Alba white truffle (Tuber magnatum pico) is the rarest, most expensive ingredient in Italian cuisine. It grows wild in the oak and hazelnut forests of the Langhe and Roero hills of Piedmont, cannot be cultivated, and is hunted by local trifolau (truffle hunters) with trained dogs.
